You didn’t think I would just stop shopping altogether; just stay home and watch Full House reruns, did you?

I still enjoy shopping and have picked up a few things here and there – nothing major – today I thought I’d share with you some of what I’ve bought lately!

This is the bestest, most comfortable bra I’ve ever worn! It’s not crazy padded, the underwire is concealed, and the fabric is super soft and silky.  I already own it in a black and a nude – I’ve been wearing them to death so I wanted another neutral shade, but every time I go to VS, they are sold out of my size. I was lucky to score this last one, which was misplaced in another area. 😀

I really didn’t NEED another wallet but I had been eyeing this one and when I saw that it was discounted to $29, I couldn’t resist. I like how compact it is – both sides have zip sections and it opens to a billfold with slots for credit cards.  It’ll be handy for travelling.

Yes, POOP pens and pencil sharpeners are real items for sale!  I, naturally, got the brown colour in both of them.  Yup, I’m immature. I got these from a cute little stationary shop in Koreatown, called Mr. Pen.

Also bought this for same friend – she already has a son and is thrilled to be having a little girl!  (No, her name isn’t Molly, this was just the stock photo showing that the item can be customized and Molly was the sample name) I can’t wait to see the baby wearing this outfit.

Coconut Oil

I’ve been wanting to try doing a hair mask with coconut oil – I didn’t need anything fancy and spotted this jar for only $5.50 – it’s organic too. [I feel like this jar was mislabeled because I saw the exact same item at another store and it was $15 which is more aligned with prices I’ve seen for coconut oil]

A HomeSense score for $20 (HomeSense is part of the TJMaxx family, it focuses on home decor stuff). I wasn’t 100% sure if I would keep this – it all depended on whether it would fit with the rest of my organizers, but it works well.

I’ve been eyeing this set forever but didn’t want to dish out $10, so when I saw it at Winners for half that, I grabbed it.

  1. The poop pens are hilariously cute. And the baby stuff is adorable! Good call with the coconut oil as a hair mask! I just put it through my ends and remember to shampoo twice as once is def. not enough. I have learned the hard way. My most recent non-makeup purchase were the black shorts I was telling you about from tj maxx! My old H&M ones had gotten TOITE. Lol

    1. Don’t you hate it when you go to try on your summer clothes and you’re like, “Hey, these didn’t fit like this last summer?” But you didn’t gain any weight because your current clothes fit the same. What the hell, universe!
      Thanks for the tip about the coconut oil mask! Did you leave the coconut oil on overnight? I may try it tonight.

      1. Some people leave it in for an hour, but I do mine before I sleep and tie it up in a bun. It doesn’t stain my pillows, but I did cover them with a towel the first time I tried it just to make sure.

  2. I really love those measuring cups! I might need to look into buying some myself!! My husband recently bought a crap ton of knives (we already have so many). I actually just bought my first luggage set. I’m really excited about it!

  4. Ha I love the poops. They could easily be…soft serve ice cream or fro yo, too 😀 But poop is more fun.

    Hmm I like those Umbra cups! But I recently bought stainless steel ones that should last forever. Le sigh. I don’t need more.

    1. They’re 100% poop b/c my pen has the S word on it! LOL.
      Uh, our place may or may not have 3 or 4 sets of measuring cups. And spoons. This is what happens when single people merge their household inventory and neither wants to throw theirs out!

        Hey, multiples are great for holidays when you cook/bake EVERYTHING. But then the rest of the year you have to store all the spoons and cups.

  8. Those Kawaii stuff *sigh* just wakes my kid at heart. I think I’m lucky that we have plenty of coconut trees here being on a tropical country. That coconut masks reminds me of our own DIY here.

      1. We buy these grated coconut in the wet market, extract the coconut milk. Put it in your hair and let it stand for 30 minutes. Some may not stand the smell tho and the oil residue but it really gives best results. I do this once a week. I’m just not sure if there is young coconut sold there, maybe in Filipino stores.
