I didn’t intentionally set out to buy accessories, it just happens, ya know?  Especially when I get good deals!

I’ve been interested in getting a lighter colour purse for the summertime but wasn’t seeing styles I liked.  Until…

This one was a lunch time browsing find from Winners – they also had the same bag in  white, lime green, and a kelly green.  I was very tempted buy the white version, but I knew it would get dirty in about 2 minutes. I like how the strap converts from a crossbody to a shoulder length.

I went into the Lululemon store solely for the purpose of buying a gift card for a friend’s birthday, but you know how it happens that you find stuff for yourself?  One for you, one for me:

This thing is HUGE. If I just sling it over my neck, the ends go past my knees. I cut off those neon pink tassels – they were so obnoxious.

Dr. Scholl’s Joliet flats in copper from Winners for $40 (regularly $90)
Yes, I bought Dr. Scholl shoes, and not the first time either! I own the exact same pair in a champagne [bronze] colour and they’re fantastic for commuting or wearing on the weekends.  The insoles are SO comfy, it’s like wearing slippers!  When I like something, I like to buy multiples in different colours.

Bar Necklace in sterling silver (brand is Upper Metal Class) from Indigo for $39 (regularly $60)
I’ve been wanting a simple plain bar necklace for a while now and these popped up in the sale section of Indigo (it’s primarily a bookstore but they sell some great accessories and home wares) for 35% off so I couldn’t resist.  I snagged the last one! 😛

  3. I love the bar necklace and the scarf the best out of these. I would have cut off the pink tassels as well, though! Great choices. Makes me want to go on a shopping spree too, but no- buy for me too for couple of months.
    P.S. I like your ‘one for you, one for me’ strategy! 🙂

  4. I love the purse! My two addictions are makeup and bags for sure. I’ve been keeping an eye out for a summer purse too, there’s a few at Aldo that are calling my name :p

    1. I never used to care about accessories but in the past year or so I’ve liked sprucing up the wardrobe with some colour or accents. I dress fairly plainly in terms of clothes (I prefer solids and mostly dress in black and greys) so a little something helps!

  7. Nice scarf! I vaguely like the tassels, but they are also kind of annoying so I agree with their removal 🙂

    The Fossil bag reminds me of an older MJ style. Loving Fossil lately.

    I haven’t bought any accessories lately…I guess the last one I got was a Rachel Nasvik bag off eBay, last fall.
