So you want to embark on a No-Buy? Don’t know where to start? I’m currently on a makeup / skincare No-Buy for the entire year of 2015, approaching the last 4 months of my goal. Here’s a handy guide for all the makeup addicts who may realize that they may have a problem.
First, are sure you really need to go on a No-Buy? Take this short quiz:
1) Do you own more than 5 foundations?
2) Do you keep buying the same lipstick shade over and over again and now you own 14 MLBB shades?

I will probably do another no buy in October or November (or maybe both months) – your encouragement made it easy to get through no buy June and July. 🙂

Thanks! I feel so torn – a mix of accomplishment but yet also wanting to just say, screw it, I’m going SHOPPING!!! since I lasted so long. I’m “lucky” in a sense that the CAD $ is so crapola right now!

Yep, hold out for the dollar to go up! 😀 I’m already seeing Canadian prices going up…MAC lipsticks went up to $20, and Dior polishes went up a couple bucks. Geez. OTOH I seem to think Burberry nail polish went down from $25 to $23. I dunno but I want one, now. LOL

Oh man, I was wondering when retailer would adjust their prices. Boo. Hmm I’ve never had any interest in Burberry nail polishes – what spurred this sudden interest?
