I mentioned in my blogiversary post that I feel one of the strengths of the blog is that I’m able to do comparisons between various products due to my stash. Here are some highlights of those comparison posts (I just remembered that I even did a week-long series called “Comparison Week” ha!):

Confession time: I don’t think Real Technique brushes are ALL that. Sure they’re soft and affordable but I’m still a die-hard NATURAL bristle brush gal. They just perform SO much better in my opinion.
For a less expensive option, Inglot carries some great brushes. We should visit the Inglot store – have you been yet?

It’s right near Eaton Centre! A stand alone store near the Dundas Square – we must go. It’s a fun place and FULL of colour! 😀 We’ll get you a Freedom palette while we’re there ok!

I need to get colour matched for MAC face and body, I really want to try it. I wish there was a MAC store near me 😦 all the comparison posts were great! I also need to try milani louminous, I love the pinky shade!

Unfortunately Milani Luminous isn’t available anymore – it’s very similar to Nars Orgasm though. 🙂

I love comparison posts, and I remember reading all of them but the CG mascara one – that was before we found each other! I tend to steer clear of CG mascaras ever since I took a really bad reaction to one several years ago *shudder*

Most mascaras are iffy for me, and the scary thing is that I have no idea which ingredient is the problem (or which combination of ingredients).

I wish I had products that were super similar! I looooove reading comparison posts! I don’t think I’ve ever done one. If anything maybe I’d be able to but only with lipsticks because that’s the only thing I might have similar shades in lol 😛

Yeah you totally should look for similar shades of lipsticks in your collection – you have SO many! I’m planning on tossing out 80% of my lipsticks and start from scratch!

Nah, I have lip stuff I never use, it’s just silly to hold onto them since they turn bad so much quicker. I figured I won’t even miss them. Lipsticks are my least purchased items, I hardly ever wear lipsticks! 😛 I go naked on my lips most days! Just lip balm.

You’re right lol I’ve tossed out lippies too. It hurt but they were old some even unused!:( nothing wrong with lip balm! I had been doing that for all of December lol:) sometimes it’s just waaaay faster to just put lip balm and go! Lining the lips and applying lipstick can be tedious lol
