This order was prompted mainly by ONE nail polish: China Glaze Choo-Choo Choose You, from the Fall 2014 All Aboard collection. I was browsing some nail polish blogs looking at older nail polish collections and came across it. I mainly wanted it for the colour but… a part of me wanted it for the name:

So I had to order it, and a few other items came along for the ride:

China Glaze Choo-Choo Choose You – it was 80% for polish colour and 20% for the polish name, if I’m honest. 😛  The shade is really difficult to describe – it’s a mixture of indigo, bronze, green… very mesmerizing. I can’t wait to wear this!

A England Ascalon – this has been a long time wish list item for me. Sweet Jeebus, just LOOK at this colour! It’s gunmetal, it’s violet… it’s just magical.

Cirque Never Nude – This is my first ever Cirque polish – yay! And this was a colour I had been eyeing before – if anyone watched Arrested Development, they’d understand the name (but I seemed to remember that Never Nude shade was supposed to be a denim blue colour? Am I crazy? Because that would make a lot of sense given the Arrested Development reference.) But it’s a holographic champagne shade instead, and I’m not even mad about that!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge – since so many of you commented that you love this in the Beauty Blender Battle post, I thought I’d give it another shot. I hope this one will last me more than a few washings!  Please do a beauty sponge dance to help this RT sponge last longer! 😛

Nail Polish Canada is a Canadian operated online store that sells nail polish (dur) but have expanded into makeup and other beauty products. My very first order with them was November of 2011, in which I bought Essie Shine Of The Times, and they included a candy cane with my order. I was taught not to take candy from strangers… but ah well, what the heck. I’ve been a loyal customer of NPC ever since! 😆 They have fair prices and I tend to stick to hard-to-find brands like A England, Nubar and Misa.  Shipping is free with $25 minimum purchase, and this order arrived in 6 days.

  1. You absolutely chose 3 Ingrid colors !!! I’m anxious to read your reviews on the Cirque & England polishes; I might buy them after 😛 I never purchase anything from NailPolish Canada.

    1. I have one other A England polish which was a gift and let me tell you – it’s mesmerizing! The shimmers in these indie brands are so intriguing. I stare at my nails too much when I’m wearing them – sometimes it’s awkward when I’m at work lol!
      Sometimes NailPolish Canada offers free shipping no minimum required!

      1. A minimum of 25$ for free shipping is really good anyway !!! My only problem is the 50+ nail polishes that I already have in my collection 😀 My low-buy makes me questioning every single product that I want versus need !!! (Obviously I don’t need anything:P)

    1. I only have one A England polish before this (Fated Prince, which was a gift) so I’m excited to try this one! 😀 Can’t wait to play with all the pretties… I think I need to change up my polishes more than once a week…

  5. First, Ralphy is absolutely the best. He has the most spectacular one liners.
    Those nail polishes though! Sooo pretty!! Ascalon had been on my wish list for a while. Aengland polishes are so nice!
    Im really interested to hear your thoughts on the Cirque Colours polish. I have one polish from them and the shade is perfection but the formula is kind of sketchy.

    1. I know, Ralph’s lines are THE BEST! Poor kid.
      What colour of Cirque polish do you have? Is it a holographic shimmer? Sometimes I find holos get bald spots and drag a bit… they advise to use a special base coat but screw that. 😛

  12. I so did the sponge dance lol!!! 😂 I hope you love it as much as I do!!! Ohhhhmyyyyygooooosshhhhh!!! Those nail polishes are just 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I am definitely putting them on my wishlist and getting them! I love those types of colored and holographic polishes are gorgeous !!!!

    1. I’m wearing A England Ascalon today – it mostly registers as a gunmetal colour but every so often I catch a hint of purple. It’s so purty. I’ll do a follow up post with swatches and reviews of all these polishes, I promise! 😀
