I succumbed to some sale items on Body Shop’s site! 😛
I’ve never ordered off the Body Shop website before but they seem to have better sales and carry some items that the stores don’t carry. I got:
White Musk Libertine eau de toilette – 60ml – was $25, bought for $8
This was one of the main reasons why I went online to the Body Shop site to begin with – I had started using the White Musk Libertine Body Butter which I purchased a while ago. I fell in love with the scent! I asked at several Body Shop stores if they stocked it and they said White Musk Libertine is a limited edition scent that they bring back once in a while. I did a search online and discovered that Body Shop online carried the EDT and it was on clearance! I’m not normally a musk type of person, but this soft scent was so comforting and cozy. The key notes of this are musk, whipped cream and honey! 😀
White Musk Libertine Body Mist – 100ml – reg $15, bought for $5
I ended up purchasing the corresponding body mist because it was so cheap too. 😛
Vitamin E Face Mist – 100ml – $20 reg, got for $12
I see this mentioned a lot as a great hydrating facial spray, so I had to get in on the action! I go through facial sprays quickly so even though I recently got the Clinique one, I know this will be in use in no time. I was a bit amused to see “100ml” moulded right into the bottle.
Drops of Youth Eye Concentrate – $32 reg, got for $19.20
I’d opened up my last bottle of the Mary Kay Eye Revitalizer rollerball thing and it’s now discontinued so I’m on the hunt for a suitable replacement. I tested it in the store and it feels really silky and made my skin very smooth. I hope it’ll be a good option!
Oils of Life Twin-Ball Facial Massager – $20
This was the other reason why I went onto the Body Shop site – I’d been on the hunt for this thing since last Autumn when the Oils of Life collection was launched! I played around with it in the store but could not commit at the time and then they disappeared from stores. I’ve asked at their stores at various times and they all say they’ve been sold out for ages. And this thing never goes on sale so I paid full price for it.
Wild Argan Oil Miracle Solid Oil for Body and Hair – 50g – reg $14, got for $8.40
I`d read about this on Curly Haired Messy Mane’s blog and have been wanting to try it. This smells really good.
Luxury Facial Flannel – reg $8, got for $4.8
I’d read about this from various blogs (namely Rose Beauty Files) and was curious about this odd squishy cloth. I have a few cleansing balms that I’ll be testing with this cloth.
Fresh Nude Foundation in 020 Bali Vanilla – $25
No deal on this item either. And this was a bit of an impulsive purchase. I had seen this new foundation at Body Shop stores and received a demonstration of it. I did really like their old Liquid Mineral Foundation but the colour selection was quite wonky. The new foundation is offered in 16 shades – plus, in a genius move, the Body Shop offers Shade Adjusting Drops in Darkening and Lightening shades. I wish every brand of foundation would offer these! I received some shade adjusting pigments from Illamasqua so I passed on the Body Shop ones. I hope this trend will catch on. With the purchase of this foundation, my March monthly makeup allowance of $59.24 has been reduced to $34.24. 😉
And because I spent $75 online (free shipping!), I received a free full size body lotion – I chose the Mango Whip Body Lotion. I also received a sample of the Oils of Life Intensely Revitalizing Facial Oil. I do also have the Body Shop Love Your Body card which grants me 10% off my total purchase. In addition, I received 8% cash back from ebates. 🙂 The order took 3 days to arrive which was impressive!
Have you tried these items? What are your favourites from the Body Shop?
Oeh great haul! Bodyshop often has such great deals online 🙂
I tried the face spray, but is was a while ago so I can only remember it was nice. Intrigued by that facial flannel, that sounds strange but nice.

That flannel IS strange. The SA also warned me that it’s squishy and soft when it’s damp but goes stiff and hard when dried… I’m really curious what benefits it has!
I used to prefer shopping in store but now I think I’m shifting more over to shopping online (especially when shipping is free!)

Hmm, do write a review on that one. It still sounds a little strange to me.
I think the bodyshop has such good online offers that it too tempting to do anything but shop online.

I just got the Rose Libertine Musk in a beauty box (http://helplesswhilstdrying.com/2016/03/11/look-incredible-march-2016-review/) and I’m in love with it – I’ve had so many compliments on it. We can’t get it here at the moment, but I will pick up a few other bits when I see it again! Look forward on seeing your thoughts on that foundation, I’ve eyed it in stores a few times! x

Oh I had not seen that post! Thanks for linking it for me. 😀 I was so surprised how much I liked the scent when I used the body butter! I’m wearing the perfume today – it’s so soft but has good longevity too. And the bottle is really high quality too. Just all around a great perfume.
I haven’t tried the foundation yet but I plan to maybe tomorrow! It felt and looked really good when I tested it in the store.

No problem! I’ve been wearing the perfume everyday since getting it last week and I’ve found it lasting really well too. Bargain at the price you got it at!

I haven’t dug into it yet but it’s sitting by my night stand. I’m thinking it will mostly be used for my hands and cuticles. Thanks for your review of that! 🙂

Great haul! The Vitamin E Face Mist is one of my favourite products…the whole line is great actually. Keep us updated on the foundation!

I’m currently using the Vitamin E toner and I love it. I haven’t tried anything else from the line but I think I”ll look into the creams.
Yes, I’ll likely do a review on the foundation – it’s one of their newer items.

Goof choices. The Body Shop have a lot of offers and sales online, so I often order bits I don’t even need haha x

I’ll check online going forward! I never thought to look online for Body Shop since it’s all stuff I want to touch and smell – but I guess I can just check them out at the store and buy online! 😉

Nice haul! I admit to not shopping all that much at TBS – I feel like I liked them better back in the 90s when their fragrances somehow seemed better. (I miss Ananya so much!) I haven’t tried much of their makeup at all, though, apart from the nail polish, which I do like. Looking forward to your reviews 🙂

I don’t remember Ananya! I do remember buying the perfume oils in those little round bottles with the little stick. I had a bunch of them and would mix and match (almond was my favourite). I did really like their old eye shadows but not the new reformulated ones. Their lipsticks are actually quite good.

The Body Shop really does have better sales online. My favorite is when they do the buy 3 get 3 around Christmas time and have the bonus gift 🙂 You got a ton of great stuff for what you paid too!

That’s awesome – buy 3 get 3 is perfect for gifts (one for you, one for me…) I was happy with the deals! Might have to shop online only now for Body Shop stuff.

Wow that facial massager looks really interesting. I’ve never seen anything like it before! How do you like it?

It’s pretty neat! The trick with it is to warm it up under warm water first, then roll it on the face with some facial oil. I’ll do a review on it.

Awesome, I’d love to see a review on it! I am very intrigued.

Lovely haul! I like the sound of the White Musk Libertine EDT and body mist, I’ll have to give them a spray when I’m in next. I have the Vitamin E Face Mist and I like to use it after applying my moisturiser and before the rest of my makeup 🙂

Glad to hear you like the Vitamin E mist. I might to a battle of the facial mist between that and the Clinique one I picked up! I like to mist my face before I apply serum & moisturizer – it helps to plump up the skin.

Great buys from the Body Shop! I’ve used the Vitamin E overnight serum but the face mist sounds interesting too! I just get really lazy and forget to apply things like that unless it’s part of a routine.

I just remembered that I did try the serum and I wasn’t too impressed with it. I love the Vitamin E toner though – that’s what I’m currently using and it’s a repurchase.

I do think I remember you telling me before in another post actually that you weren’t a fan. I’ve repurchased it 3 times now and will try something different just for the sake of it this time around.

Aw what country are you from that your Body Shop has no sales like this?! How sad.

Awesome haul! The only items I’ve ever really tried from the Body Shop are the body butters and their body washes, but some of these sound like really good picks! Like you, I’m not usually a fan of musk, but the notes in the White Musk Libertine sound lovely. I’ve also always wanted to try the Body Whips!

Yeah I was a Body Shop body butter gal for years. I still love their stuff but I guess I’ve been swayed by other places now like Kiehls and Bath & Body Works and more recently, Lush. I’m excited to try that Mango body whip – I opened it to smell it and it’s YUM. I’ll save it for summer time so I’ll smell super tropical!

Funny because I went from using BBW for several years, but for the past year I’ve just started switching to Body Shop products more. I do want to give Lush another try…and of course Kiehls too, although I suppose they’re considered a little more high end.

I love anything that has musk in it I’ve found! Lol

I’m the opposite – most things with “musk” I tend to avoid. So I was surprised how much I liked the scent of the body butter when I bought it from the store. And I loved it even more when I wore is around all day so that’s why I sought after the perfume! I’m wearing it today and I smell so CLEAN (not that I usually smell unclean… 😉 )

LOL Musk sounds gross, right? But I know that I like it!

Sales are so evil for impulse buys. How is the foundation working out for you? Yellow / beige tone after oxidation?

I haven’t tested the foundation yet. I’ve been trying too many new face products I need to give my skin a breather. I might open it on the weekend to test it (I do typically test new items on the weekend in case it turns out badly! 😛 )

Have you tried your sample of the Oils of Life ??? I received a bottle of it and it’s so bad … I never had much luck with the Body Shop skincare or makeup items; however I do love their bath & body products !!!

No I haven’t tried it yet! Oh no, why was it so bad? I’ve had hits and misses with Body Shop stuff but yes, their forte is definitely their body stuff.

First the smell is awful & second it’s a greasy mess !!! Welcome pimples with this product … Now for my body stuff I always use Cake or BBW. Like you probably know they always have Cake products super cheap at Winners ! 😊

Oh dear, that sounds absolutely vile. I don’t want to try it now. I’ll have to investigate the ingredient list first before I apply to my precious face!
I LOVE Cake stuff! And yes, I stock up on their body souffles a while back. SO GOOD!
