Nuworld Everyday Zen: Jasmine Aroma Diffuser and Oil Blends

Last Christmas I received the Saje aromaBreeze Ultrasonic Nebulizer as a present, which introduced me to the world of aroma diffusers. Using that device helped to provide a basis of comparison for the Jasmine Aroma Diffuser by Stadler Form (C$85), which was sent to me by Nuworld Botanicals.

Along with the diffuser, I received the Everyday Zen Diffuser Oil Blends Try Me Kit, which comes with 6 essential oil blends (6 x 7.4ml vials for C$44).

The Jasmine Aroma Diffuser uses the same ultrasonic technology as the Saje to deliver moisture, ions, and essential oil into the air.  The benefits are to hydrate, improve mood and even deposit oils onto the skin!  It’s super easy to use:
• Pour in room temperature tap water up to the indicated level (about 100ml)
• Add essential oils (NuWorld recommends about 20-25 drops per use – I just dispense a dropper-full for ease of measurement)
• Turn on the device

It so challenging to capture the mist – I hope you can see the faint wisps of it here.

Similar to the Saje aromaBreeze model, the Jasmine Aroma Diffuser has an auto-shut-off mechanism which shuts off after around 6 hours. The Jasmine model has an  added feature of an interval setting: 10 min on, 20 min off, and runs approximately 24 hours with one filling.

I must say – I prefer the Jasmine Aroma Diffuser is over the Saje aromaBreeze!

It is much more compact even though it holds the same amount of water as the Saje. The shape of the Jasmine is more stable than the Saje since it has a more squat base.

Also, I found the throw of the scent to be stronger with the Jasmine – I can smell the oils all throughout our place with just this one small unit. Lastly, this unit runs almost silently, unlike the Saje which has a noticeable hum.

Now for the oils, the Try Me Kit contained the following:

I tried each of these oil blends over the course of several weeks and my favourites were the citrusy smells of “Happy Vibes” and the mellow scents of “Peace of Mind”. Based on my usage rates, I’d say each 7.4ml vial would yield about 10 uses in the diffuser.  I rate the diffuser 10/10 and the oils 8/10

The Jasmine Aroma Diffuser and the Try Me Kit are sold separately or together as a gift set, which retails for C$125 and would make an excellent Christmas present. You know, for those people who already have everything and you don’t know what to get them? Get them this! 😀

Note: these were sent to me free of charge and I tested them out thoroughly before forming my own thoughts and opinions about them. Thank you, Nuworld Botanicals!

Have you tried these types of room diffusers and oils? What are your thoughts on them?

  1. A diffuser is something that is constantly on my wish list, but one of those things I never spring for because I don’t really “need” it, ya know? Maybe I should just ask for one for Christmas.
I can see why the shape of the Jasmine diffuser is better, but I just love how the Saje one looks – it’s so modern and chic! Mmm, Happy Vibes sounds like it would smell so good, haha!

    1. I hope you get one for Christmas! I’m still curious about the MUJI ones because they look so modern:

I do think the Saje is really sleek looking but in our condo, it looks a bit bulky. I’m contemplating giving the Saje one to my sister but I don’t want to hurt my SO’s feelings since he gave it to me! 😆

      1. Hah, I haven’t made enough of a fuss about having one, so probably not this year!

Oooh, I like that Muji one too! Hmm, good point about it being difficult to give away the Saje one since your SO gifted it to you. Cross your fingers he doesn’t notice it’s gone?! lol.

  2. This sounds like an amazing little contraption. I have always just had reed fragrance diffusers but this sounds like a wonderful alternative which would probably warrant a lot less replacing than what a reed diffuser needs. I also really love the idea of it depositing oils onto the skin. 🙂

    1. I’ve never had a reed fragrance diffuser but I really like the look of them! I have a bit of an aversion to candles because of the flame / sucking oxygen from the air (don’t ask!) but I do like having a nicely scented room. I like that there are additional benefits from the ultrasonic diffuser!
