I skipped September Trash Stash due to post-vacation lethargy and the reevaluation of my life: Why am I not on vacation still? Why is anyone even interested in looking at my beauty empties? Why am I here? Then I snapped out of it and got back into the swing of things. š
As my punishment, I now have to root through 2 months’ worth of garbage. At least, I’m not like someone (I won’t say who) with 6 months’ worth of empties to post! š®
Finally, the third part of my three-part series in transitioning from antiperspirants to deodorants. Today I’m reviewing the Lavanila The Healthy Deodorant in Vanilla Grapefruit:
It retails for $17 CAD for a sizable 57g of solid deodorant stick. In Canada, I’ve only seen Lavanila deodorants sold at Sephora.
I started doing quarterly favourites this year since monthly favourites don’t work for me, as my favourites tend to remain fairly static month over month. But with the changing seasons, I do find a shift in my skincare and makeup, so I’m able to pick some some seasonal favourites to share. My mid-year favourites focus on items I used in the Spring and when I went on my trip to Japan.
Here are my thoughts on each:
I’ve been wanting to make the switch from antiperspirants to deodorants for a while now. I’ve read so many opposing views aboutĀ antiperspirants vsĀ deodorants so I decided to find out for myself.
I’ll be trying out 3 different deodorants to see which one I prefer, and if I can survive without antiperspirants.
