Hmm sushi. I made a pact with my SO that I’ll not eat any Japanese food this whole week in advance of the trip. It was so difficult. I usually eat sushi at least once a week!

I was naughty and went out for sushi last week! 😀 Anyway, my dr said that if you trust the restaurant/source, it’s no worse than eating a burger. I think I did pick something that was kind of flash-fried, though, so it was half-cooked. God, I can’t even remember what I ate.

That was one of the hardest things for all my friends who were preggos – to not have sushi! I think the risk is SO low but I guess people get super paranoid and people tsk tsk-ing! Haha I was going to ask you what you ate… was it at least tasty?! 😉

Me tooooo! And oh yeah, I’ll have a ton of scenery pics. We’ll be visiting tradition shrines and we’re staying at a traditional ryokan where we’ll sleep on tatami mats and eat on the floor! 😀

Well, I’ll be sight seeing mainly for the first portion of the trip – we’ll be taking trains to travel between cities so I won’t be shopping much until the very end! I’ll be going to the famous Shibuya crossing probably on Sunday:

Safe travels! Looking forward to your posts while you’re there. A friend of mine got pocket wi-fi while she was in Japan last year. If that were me traveling, I’d be on a search for different flavors of Kit Kat bars. They have so many weird/yummy ones!
