No one gave me this challenge but I just decided to do it out of curiosity. Would using a mask every single day truly help my skin?
I focused on using single-use sheet or clay masks for the whole month of June. [warning: long post]
As you can see from the post title, this isn’t going to be an overly positive post. One could say it almost doesn’t matter which cushion foundation was my first
victim choice, but it just so happened to be one that isn’t widely known:
The Donginbi Red Ginseng Radiance Cushion BB SPF 50 PA+++ in #23 Calm Beige. This compact cost me $45 and includes the case, an applicator sponge, and 2 cushion refills (at 18ml each). I bought this last year during a K-Beauty haul. I’ve been using this cushion compact on and off for the past 5 months – I’m going to use this product as a reference, but my rant is for the overall concept of cushion compacts.
I’m slowly climbing out of the mountain of boxes and bags containing beauty products from post-holiday clearance hauls. So begins Hauluary 2017. XD
First up, my Korean beauty hauls from 2 places: Holika Holika and Ibbi Beauty.
I’d never heard of Jolse until I started blogging. Then I came across the amazing Fifty Shades of Snail blog, which showcases Asian skincare. She often talks about Jolse.com and then I started noticing other blogs mentioning the site so I decided to order a few things to test it out.
Jolse is a Korean beauty site that offers free shipping and credits for every order. I got $3 credit just for signing up, which I was able to apply toward my first order. There are often sales and special kit deals featured on the site.
Continuing with “Hauluary” (full credit goes to GymBagMakeup for this term!), I bought a bunch of Korean beauty items – this haul consists of an online order as well as a visit to a local Korean store.
There’s a new Korean beauty kiosk inside the local Korean grocery store that carries TonyMoly stuff among others so I had to pay a visit. 🙂
