Happy December! Now that I’m done Project Pan, I have to be honest with you – I’ve been feeling a little stressed and lot guilty about the pile of makeup that have been waiting to be photographed, tested, and reviewed. Ever since the floodgates opened this year for makeup buying, I’ve been amassing so many new items, all the while making mental notes to review them on the blog. The entire 3 months I was doing Project Pan, I kept eyeing the ever growing pile.
So for the month of December, instead of jingle jangle ho ho ho Christmas themed posts, I’m going to play catch up on all the items I’ve been meaning to review! Here’s a sneaky peek at what will be coming up. 😛

Project Pan: Lancôme Khol in Love eye liner in Chocolate Affair

I’m sure you’ve heard of this brand by now since it’s making the rounds on all the Canadian beauty blogs! 😉 I won’t bore you too much with the mythos of Maison Jacynthe (yes, there’s a real person behind the brand, Jacynthe René) as it’s been written about countless times recently – let’s just get into the products since that’s what I’m here for. In September, I was contacted to select some products to try out – here’s what I chose:

• Blush refill pan in 01 Romeo
• Large Compact
Rather than choosing only makeup items, I decided to pick the refillable compact because, you know that I don’t need any more makeup! 😛
I bought the LUSH Cream Eyeshadow in Sophisticated back in February.
It was to replace another cream eye shadow that I’ve had for ages – I’ve had a chance to wear the LUSH eye shadow in various ways now, here’s a review and comparison between the two.
I mainly became interested in this polish after hearing from fivezero that some WnW polishes are made in Luxembourg so I have to find out for myself!
I don’t often buy nail polishes that come packaged with a cardboard backing – I think these were repackaged specifically for Dollarama – as you can see, this cost $1.50. The bottle contains 12.3ml of polish.
I received this from the lovely Polished and Inspired when we met up in May! Thank you again for this polish, it’s so “me”! 😀
With the summer days winding down, I thought this was a nice summery shade to wear before the heat died down!
Finally, the post that many of you requested when I received my AliExpress order back in March. Here’s the comparison between the Nars Kabuki Ita Brush and the cheaper knock-off alternative. 😉
