When I hauled this item from Nordstrom in October last year, many of you expressed interest in seeing a review of this, so I prioritized it to test out.

Here’s another item that I bought in Japan last June – I decided to open up the THREE Balancing Cleansing Oil and bypass some other cleansing oils in my stash because it contains no preservatives and I didn’t want it to spoil.
This product has a lot of hype around it, and I wanted to see for myself how a luxury cleansing oil performs. I’ll spoil the review here now because you’ll notice that the title mentioned TWO cleansing oils – the DHC Deep Cleansing Oil came to the rescue when the THREE oil failed to deliver. 😦 I have a question for you – when people ask if you want to hear the bad news first or the good news first – which do you normally say? I always want to hear the bad news first…

In my “final” Hauluary post, I mentioned that I was waiting for a couple more shipments – this is one of them! In mid-January, I heard about TheBalm being on HauteLook for 50% off from Kaily – I was both excited and a little bit apprehensive. I’ve contemplated for years about ordering makeup off HauteLook since they hold such amazing sales, but living in Canada often adds a whole layer of complexity – not to mention expense – when it comes to ordering from US-based sites. So how was my first HauteLook experience from a Canadian perspective?

I picked this up in back in May last year in my Japan trip… I’ve been quite slow in trying the items I’ve purchased in Japan. Part of me wants to dig in but a big part of me just want to look at the pretty stuff and keep them in pristine condition! 😛 I mean, just look at how cute this thing is!

Dannii lives in the UK, and I live in Canada so it was an opportunity for both of us to get our hands on things that would otherwise not be easily accessible to us. Look at what Dannii sent to me! 😮
We shipped our parcels out at the end of January and they arrived last week. As with previous swaps, I asked Dannii what types of items she was interested in receiving, and I gave her a few things I was interested in. She sent me those and then some! 😀

First Trash Stash of 2017!
As you may recall, in my 2016 Trash Stash summary post, I expressed interest in trying to achieve 365 empties for 2017 (aka 1 empty per day). Let’s see how I did.
I didn’t really know how to name this post – but basically, I’ve been using two new nighttime face creams recently. The first one, I started using and reacted badly to, and the second was to the rescue.
