Since I skipped June’s Trash Stash, I’m breaking up this post into 2 parts instead of overwhelming you with a monster post. 😛 Here’s about half of what I used up in the past 2 months:

I’m Back (Sort of) – What I’ve Been up to
I committed to being back by the end of July and I’m squeaking in just on the last day! 😛 First, I want to thank you all for the Birthday wishes! 😀 I had a great birthday! My SO and I baked a cake… a Betty Crocker boxed cake in the Cherry Chip flavour. It’s a nostalgic flavour for me as I remember having it at birthday parties when I was little! I don’t have great photos of the masterpiece but here’s what a slice looked like:
It turned out really well for our first ever baking attempt! 😀 (It’s not fancy like the ones I see online but it’s the taste that counts, right?) Aside from my birthday, during my time away from blogging, I’ve been doing some fun stuff…
Birthday Break
A quick note to let you know that I’ll be taking a short break from blogging, just in time for my birthday which is tomorrow! 😀
I’ve been busy lately and haven’t been able to devote time to writing or photographing for the blog but I plan to be back in a few weeks! I’ll still be reading and commenting on blogs in the meantime. 🙂

Rexall Beauty Blogger Event
Last Thursday, I was invited to attend a Beauty Blogger even at Rexall located in downtown Toronto. It was to celebrate their remodeled location at Yonge and Richmond (in the heart of the Financial District in Toronto – think of it as Wall Street in NYC). It was a lovely event and I also received some loot!
