January 2017 No-Buy-Low-Buy Accountability
The title of this post is misleading since January was neither No- or Low-Buy. It was the magnificent month of Haulaury! ๐

I can’t be the only one who succumbed to all the post-holiday sales?
Nail polish haulage deserve its own post! ๐

I have no regrets! ๐
It’s the magical month known as Hauluary when I have no holds barred on shopping! ย I hauled so much in the past few weeksย that I decided to divide my haulage into 3 posts: body care, makeup and nail polish. ๐ Today I’ll tackle the body care stuff:

It didn’t help that the Bath & Body Works store near my work was closing down so they put almost the whole store on 75% off clearance. ๐ณ
At the beginning of every month, I think to myself, “this month I probably won’t have too many empties, I might have 2 or 3 max”. ย Then around the third week of the month, I am suddenly faced with a bag full of empties. Go figure.

I finished some big containers too.
What an epic journey! When I first agreed to do Project Pan, I thought it was going to be FUN. Oh how wrong I was. This is the song that went through my head (sang to the tune of “The Song That Never Ends“):
This is the Collab that never ends
It just goes on and on my friends
I agree to doing it, not knowing what it was
And I’m wearing the same makeup for 3 months because…
{repeat from top}
๐ I’m teasing. I did enjoy doing Project Pan, especially doing it alongside my collab buddies! ๐

And I’m really proud of myself for sticking to these products and diligently using them 5 out of 7 days, at minimum.
As is the tradition, every Black Friday, I try to reason with myself to not get too excited about the deals because they’re usually not THAT great,ย but then it all goes out the door once I’m actually at the mall!

Can you believe that I bought all this in the span of just one hour at the mall? ๐ฎ Have you ever seen those shopping spree prizes where kids get to run through Toys R Us and grab as many toys as possible within 5ย minutes? I wish they had that for Sephora. ๐
This was a BUSY week on the blog! ย If you’ve missed some posts, I don’t blame you. Here’s what happened:
PP12: The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation in 020 Bali Vanilla

Finally, one of the Project Pan items that actually shows visible signs of being used up. ๐
I’m all caught up now! Back in synch with the rest of the Project Pan crew! ๐ And it’s also the half way point to our 12 week project.

Today we’re looking at the still relatively new Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation in 020 Bali Vanilla:

I bought this foundation on a whim back in March when this was newly launched. This costs C$25 for 30ml.
Happy Labour Day! ย Hope you’re enjoying the long weekend! ย And welcome to another collab with the Canuck gang! We are once again, trying to chip away at some beauty products in our stash. This time we are choosing 12 items to try to pan / empty. The length of this project will be for 3 months, all the way until December! ๐

Today we’ll be introducing you to the items we selected for this project.
Last week I wore The Body Shop Colour Crush Nail Polish in #620 Got the Blues, which I got during the makeup 50% off sale back in May.

This normally retails for $8 for a 6.8ml bottle.
