Something different on the podcast today – and we’re posting in the morning rather tonight – why wait? We recorded this episode the day after the American election so I was still in shock and probably some denial. This episode expresses our raw thoughts on this history-making event.

HippyLip was our American guest for this podcast.  It was insightful to have an insider’s perspective of how things went down. Specifically, HippyLip lives in a state that flipped from blue to red. Of course HippyLip doesn’t speak for all Americans just as we don’t speak for all Canadians, but it’s a glimpse into the differences and similarities we have.  I wished we could be more funny and talked more about makeup but honestly, shit got real!

PP12: MAC Powder Blush in Cubic

I have to first apologize, but this blush is discontinued as of last year. I was as shocked as anyone else when this was announced. I had MAC MUAs tell me they didn’t know what they’ll use now for weddings – it was their staple shade. They were stocking up on this shade themselves.

Blushes are one of my favourite makeup items, behind eye shadows and nail polish. I own over 150 blushes… 😮 But MAC Cubic is one that I holds a special place in my heart.

I managed to achieve VIB Rouge status last year on my No-Buy ( 😆 ) so I get early access and 20% off, starting November 4th until the 7th. Then the VIB level will have 20% off from Nov 11-14th.  It’s the highest discount level that Sephora offers in the whole year, so it’s the best time to stock up!
