This is my first quarterly favourites post for 2017. I’ve been taking down notes on various items that I’ve enjoyed between January and March:
I try to have a balance of items but it looks like this is more heavy on the makeup front. 😛
Last Christmas I received the Saje aromaBreeze Ultrasonic Nebulizer as a present, which introduced me to the world of aroma diffusers. Using that device helped to provide a basis of comparison for the Jasmine Aroma Diffuser by Stadler Form (C$85), which was sent to me by Nuworld Botanicals.
Along with the diffuser, I received the Everyday Zen Diffuser Oil Blends Try Me Kit, which comes with 6 essential oil blends (6 x 7.4ml vials for C$44).
What a difference one day makes. I made a conscious decision to lay off blogs yesterday – I just couldn’t muster genuine interest after the American election results. But I suppose the best way to move past the shock is to resume normal activity.
I didn’t specify what products to try from Nuworld Botanicals so it was prophetic and timely that Natalie Cascella (the founder of Nuworld Botanicals) sent these specific ones to me!
All the cool kids are doing it these days. I think a weekly round-up post could be helpful for those of you who might not be able to browse blogs all week. My hope is to not only provide a centralized place to summarize all my posts from the past week, but provide some additional tidbits. Project Pan 12: KATE Stick Concealer in Natural Beige
Stick concealers are notoriously challenging – here’s one that is multi-functional and it works well under the eyes too.
I did not select the specific items – I described a few of my likes and dislikes, along with my skin type and concerns – and left it up to Nuworld Botanicals to surprise me! 😀 Today I’m reviewing the first item that I’ve been testing for the past month, the Cold-pressed Organic Sea buckthorn & Jojoba oil:
If you’ve been a reader of this blog, you’ll know that I love oils for all sorts of beautifying aspects: cleansing, hydrating and protecting. So how does this oil from Nuword Botanical stack up against other oils I’ve tried?
The first “real” month of my self-imposed No-Buy, due to my overspending back in May / June. In August, I did pick up a few bits from the drugstore, and Winners, where else?
I’ve been surprisingly not too tempted by new launches even with all the Fall sneak peeks and clearance sales (no thanks to the ultimate Temptress, Ms. Ingrid! 😉 )
