PSA: My Comments are in Your Spam Box!

It’s happening again! I’ve been leaving too many comments it seems. Please check your spam box to release my comments – I’m in spam jail right now! šŸ˜¦ I’ve sent a note to WP – hopefully this will be sorted out by the weekend.

stash matters

Sometime around 10 this morning, my comments on other peopleā€™s blogs started to not post. Ā When I hit reply, the comment would disappear ā€“ leading me to believe that they were going into the recipientsā€™ spam box. Ā Thanks to Jodi of AĀ BrashĀ Attitude, who verified for me that my comments were indeed going into her spam box. Ā Itā€™s also been verified on a few other blogs that for some mysterious reason, my comments are being flagged as spam! Iā€™m no spammer, Iā€™m Stashy! šŸ˜›

So, Iā€™m asking for your help. Ā On your blog, please follow these steps:

1) Go to your WP Admin Dashboard, itĀ is located here:
https://yourblogname.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php
(replace ā€œyourblognameā€ with your blogā€™s name! šŸ˜‰ )

Or you can click through from the WordPress ā€œMy Siteā€ (where it shows your stats), scroll all the way to the bottom:
wpspam5
It will open in a new tab / window.

Mediterranean Cruise – Trip Photos

Hey! I’m back from our cruise to the Mediterranean. šŸ™‚ It was a fantastic trip! But I’ll start out with the not so good: our flight home from Venice was delayed by over 5 hours because of a careless remark by a fellow passenger. What was an otherwise seamlessĀ transport from sea to air was marred by what the captain of the flight called “an asinine comment”. Apparently during the check-in process, someone on our flight made a comment about airport security – we never found out who it was or what the person said or if the person was detained afterward. We were kept in the dark about the situation until after we reboarded the plane. We had all originally boarded the flight on time but the plane just sat on the tarmac for over an hour until we we told that due to a “technical issue”, we had to to take all of our stuff and deplane. Then we had to go through security screening again – we thought it was a mechanical issue with the plane so we all joked that we were going through screening again to provide us with “something to do” while they fixed the plane. They had one screening station for the entire flight! šŸ˜” The Italian police and fire department were called and the cargo hold thoroughly checked. Our flight was scheduled to depart at 11:30am but we did not leave until close to 5pm. It wasn’t the worst thing by any means for us, we just got home later than we had anticipated. But for many fellow passengers who had connecting flights, they missed their flights and were put on the next available flight –Ā some were rebooked for flights departing 2 days later! šŸ˜® So, please please even if you think it’s a funny joke, don’t utter any comments about airport security while in the airport / airplane. They take this stuff seriously! šŸ™„ I said to the SO, “Imagine if this had happened when we were flying out to Venice and missed the cruise ship?” Ugh!

Here’s a picture to thank you for reading the above. šŸ™‚ It’s a shot of ourĀ cruise ship from a hilltop restaurant in Santorini, Greece.

Now, with that out of the way, onward to the good stuff! šŸ˜›

I’m off on a Mediterranean cruise! šŸ™‚

I will truly be unplugged so I won’t be updating the blog or posting social media for the duration of my trip. But I’ll be sure to share my experiences and photos once I’m back at the end of the month.

See you!

Travel Makeup and Skincare: Cruising

I’m going on a Mediterranean cruise coming up this week and we’ll be gone for 10 days. šŸ˜€ I want to pack super light for this trip since it’ll be fairly casual, and since we’re going to warm places, I don’t anticipate wanting to wear too much makeup.

And I’ve just started the Project Pan so technically I’m supposed to be focused on using those products, so I’ve tried to incorporate a few items on this trip.  I’ll be listing skincare here too.

China Glaze Let’s Jam

I always take advantage of a short work week to wear something a little more “daring”, so last week I wore China Glaze Let’s Jam:

I picked this up back in May – this is part of the Lite-Brites collection that I was so excited for, and I was so happy to have found thisĀ –Ā along with a few others from the collection – at Winners. This is part of the reason why I went over my budget so much in May! šŸ˜›

My Very First Jolse Order

I’d never heard of Jolse until I started blogging. Then I came across the amazing Fifty Shades of Snail blog, which showcases Asian skincare. She often talks about Jolse.com and then I started noticing other blogs mentioning the siteĀ so I decided to order a few things to test it out.

Jolse is a Korean beauty site that offers free shipping and credits for every order. I got $3 credit just for signing up, which I was able to apply toward my first order. Ā There are often sales and special kit deals featured on the site.

Wet n Wild Yo Soy

I mainly became interested in this polish after hearing from fivezero that some WnW polishes are made in Luxembourg so I have to find out for myself!
wetnwild_yosoy2
I don’t often buy nail polishes that come packaged with a cardboard backing – I think these were repackaged specifically for Dollarama – as you can see, this cost $1.50. The bottle contains 12.3ml of polish.
