Helpless Whilst Drying’s Favourites Massive Giveaway Goodies!

After quite the delay with the post office delivery (I think Royal Mail and Canada Post were equally to blame for this snafu!), I finally received my epic prize from Rachael of Helpless Whilst Drying! I don’t use the word ‘epic’ lightly, I mean, just look at this:

It was like Christmas and my birthday all rolled into one as I unwrapped item after item! 😀

Contrary to what one may think, I don’t actually enter that many blog giveaways. Often times, I don’t qualify because I live in a far away land called Canada. And I only enter giveaways on blogs that I like to support, of bloggers who I know well and have connected with online. So it was a no-brainer that I’d enter Rachael’s 2 year blogiversary giveaway – never thinking I’d actually win it! 😮  What’s especially exciting is that these curated items are her personal favourites – I’m sure they’ll become mine too!  Here’s a more detailed look at everything I received:

• The Wet Brush Hairbrush
• Lee Stafford Coco Loco Genius Lotion
First of all, the Lee Stafford product smells amazing! As soon as I opened the parcel, the scent of coconut came wafting through – I can’t wait to use this. And secondly, who told Rachael that I hardly ever brush my hair? The most I do is run a wide tooth comb through my hair from time to time in the shower.  Now I have no excuse. 😛

• Lamora 7pc Eye Brush Set
And what do you get for a self professed brush addict? More brushes, of course! 😉

• Essence All About Matte Concealer in 10 Matt Beige
• Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer in Nude
• Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette
• Body Shop Instablur Primer

• NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Copenhagen
• Freedom Pro Lipstick in Born With It
• Fleur De Force Lipgloss in Written in the Stars
• Lottie Nail Polish in Dream Weaver
• Body Shop Hand Cream in Strawberry
I’m especially psyched to try the Fleur De Force lipgloss and Lottie nail polish!

• Makeup Revolution Redemption Palette in Iconic 2
• Freedom Pro Highlight Powder in Diffused
• Makeup Revolution Blush in Sugar
• Makeup Revolution Translucent Powder
Very excited to use these! Rachael advised that the Freedom powder is meant to be a dupe for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder! And as if ONE palette isn’t enough, Rachael included this extra MR one in the parcel. She included the MR blush as another extra – she knows what a blush addict I am!

Rachael wrote me a lovely note which included a cheat sheet list with the £ pricing of each product so I can include in my future reviews!  That’s a mark of a true blogger! 😆

• Juicy Couture I am Juicy Couture Rollerball
I’ve never tried a Juicy Couture perfume before – this one has a fresh fruity scent. The key notes are raspberry, passion fruit and gardenia – smells like Spring to me!

And of course, she included treats of the edible kind!

A couple of the chocolates are sold here (Maltesers are one of my favourite chocolates!) but I’ve not tried the Ripple or the Milkybar Buttons. 🙂

A huge THANK YOU to Rachael for this incredible giveaway! I’ve been completely spoiled! I’m excited to play around with everything and will of course, do some reviews and let you know my thoughts. Have you tried any of these goodies?

Are you following the Helpless Whilst Drying blog? How about her Twitter and Instagram? If not, get to it! ❤

  2. Phew, it finallllly arrived! I couldn’t resist putting in a few extra pieces from Makeup Revolution – since you’re always moaning that you can’t get them 😉 One can never have too many neutral palettes so it’s all good! I’m excited to hear your thoughts on a Ripple, they’re my number 1 fave! hope you enjoy it all, you were a deserved winner and I look forward to seeing your thoughts and reviews on the pieces, hopefully a few of them may become faves for you too!

    1. I know, I can’t complain about not having Makeup Revolution stuff anymore! 😆
I’m MOST excited to try the Ripple bar – I instructed my SO to STAY AWAY from that one! Is it similar to the Cadbury Flake bar? I really like that one!
Thank you!!! I can’t wait to try everything out! 😀

  3. AWESOME prize from Rachael!! That is fantastic and I can’t imagine how much fun you’re going to have going through all those goodies! 😀 It’s so cool to try out brands that aren’t available where we live, as well.

  4. Isn’t it so funny how you can go on winning streaks without even really appling to many giveaways? I only apply to giveaways for people that I know too and want to support and I’ve been surprised how often I’ve also won. This is one heck of the mother-load though. I have the MR palette and would love to hear your thoughts!

    1. Yeah I don’t go around seeking out giveaways and it’s nice to win from bloggers you actually KNOW. They end up sending such nice notes too. 🙂 I saw you mentioned the MR palette on YT – I’ll have to give it a proper trial!

  6. What an awesome giveaway!! I love that all these people I follow keep winning the giveaways that the rest of the people I follow are doing, it’s like we all just know each other! (I’m not sure if that made any sense, forgive me, I’m tired.)

    1. Yes that made sense lol! Yes, it’s cool to actually KNOW all the parties involved. It’d be weird to enter contests from complete strangers.
