It is universally agreed, I have a hoarding problem. As a parting gift, I’m letting go of some of the items in my stash, as well as some goodies I picked up especially for this giveaway.  These are all brand new, unused, full-sized products.

What’s all included:

Although all items are new and unused, I can’t say I didn’t open some of them, because I had to take photos. But I promise that I did not touch the products inside!  If this bothers you, please do not enter the giveaway. 🙂

Lancôme Auda[City] in Paris Eyeshadow Palette

This is the palette that Lisa Eldridge designed for Lancôme. It includes a whopping 16 shades inside:

I hauled this back in mid-2016 and it sat untouched all this time. I honestly forgot I even owned this! 😳

NYX Avant Pop! Shadow Palette in Nouveau Chic

Look, I still have the receipt for this! 😛

I bought an extra of this palette with the intention of doing a review on it and then giving one away.  I haven’t even tried mine yet! (I only opened it for this photo!) 😆  But I have it on good authority from GymBagMakeup that this palette is stellar.

Becca Blushed with Light Blush Trio Palette

I bought this last year and it sat in the box the whole time… are you seeing a pattern?  I’ve got too many blushes as it is.

CoverGirl TruNaked Roses Palette

The open one is mine that I’ve been using.  You’ll receive the sealed one.

You know I love this palette. I love it so much that I bought a backup. What am I doing with a backup of an eye shadow palette when I can’t even finish a single eye shadow? 🙄

Quo Mineral Shadow Combo in Downtown Brown

The one on the right side is mine, which is a top drawer palette. Seriously, it sits on my top drawer, reserved for my favourites, which also includes the CG Roses palette above.

I posted about this a long time ago here. It’s been one of my all time favourite palettes but I don’t talk about it much since it got discontinued. Of course I bought a backup…

Note that the cover of this palette has a stubborn sticker that refused to budge (I tried but risked damaging the chrome surface). Also, said chrome surface shows every little micro scratch – it was bought from the store like this! But the product inside is untouched under a sheet of protective cover.

MAC 161 SE Duo Fibre Face Glider Brush

I bought this in 2016 and put it in a drawer and forgot about it.  It was limited edition so it’s your chance to get this if you missed out. It would be a great brush for highlighting or bronzing.

MAC 217SH Blending Brush

Remember I mentioned about stocking up on some backups of MAC 217 with the natural bristles? I didn’t forget about you! You need this brush in your life.  This is the short handled version but the brush head is identical to the long handled one – they’re even the same exact price. Personally, I prefer shorter handle – easier to get up close to the mirror and great for travel. The 217 brush is discontinued now – MAC is phasing all their brushes to synthetics ones.

Vasanti Eye Essential 4-piece Brush Kit

I’ve had this unopened for ages – Vasanti is a Canadian brand and I own a few of their brushes and they’re excellent.

Includes Detail Eyeshadow Brush, Brow Brush, Contour Eyeshadow Brush, and Eyeshadow Brush.

Vasanti Blush Brush #7

I got this on a whim and ended up loving the smaller head shape and softness so much that I bought a backup. Why do I have so many backups of brushes!

MAC Veluxe Pro Palette Refill Eye Shadow Pan in Kid

I have 3 of this eye shadow colour, for some reason? One that is being used and 2 backups. Granted, it is one of the most buttery formulas I’ve ever felt and a fantastic transitional shade… but geez, overkill much? It’s a discontinued shade and sought after item.  I should sell the other backup on eBay… 😉

MAC Frost Eye Shadow Single in Satin Taupe

I Back to MAC my decluttered items and picked this up for you! It’s my favourite eye shadow shade, ever. ❤

MAC Amplified Lipstick in Cosmo

Also Back to MAC this for you! My current favourite MAC lipstick shade which MAC describes as “pink coco”.  See I was good, I didn’t Back to MAC for myself because I know I have enough makeup… is this some kind of personal growth? 💡

Please note though, MAC has a policy that items redeemed from Back to MAC cannot be returned or exchanged. So they affixed little red X stickers over the product labels.  I didn’t want to attempt to remove them in case I ruin the label altogether!  I’m letting you know this so if you win and see the red X labels, don’t think there’s anything wrong with them. 🙂

Annabelle Single Eye Shadows in Suedine and Aura

This is a Canadian drugstore brand whose products – especially eye shadows and blushes – rival MAC’s (they’re both made in Canada!)  I own and use both of these shades but felt compelled to buy -say it with me now- backups!

Milani Baked Blush in Corallina

Grabbed an extra when I saw this on sale.

Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Beauty’s Touch

This was too pretty not to pick up.

Marcelle Quad Bronzer in Sunkissed

This is the sister brand to Annabelle (above) at a slightly higher price point. I own another Marcelle bronzer and really like it so when I saw this, I picked it up knowing I already own too many bronzers. And doesn’t it look like a Givenchy product?

H&M Precision Makeup Sponge and The Face Shop Makeup Blender Sponge

Both of these sponges have been firm favourites and I have a stash of them – sharing is caring!

C.O. Bigelow Supreme 2X Lip Shine in Vanillamint

I always have several tubes of this in my backup, and I am a big pusher of this product. 😉 It’s my go-to overnight lip treatment.

Rebels Refinery Capital Vices Skull Lip Balm in Superbia (mint)

This is a local Toronto-made 100% natural product and it is so lovely! I’m showing my own one opened – not the one to be won. It’s so much better than EOS – this is creamy and hydrating. Plus, it’s quite a conversation piece! 😛

    My holy grail…. so many! But I keep buying the Bioderma micellar water and love it!

  2. The HG product that I buy year-after-year is Blinc mascara. It’s the only product that stays put until I take it off. Doesn’t do a great job of creating fuller lashes, but does enough to make them look natural and longer.

    1. I tried Blinc mascara a few years back but it doesn’t provide the volume that I like… but I can understand why people would like it for how long it wears.

    Hmmm holy grail makeup product that I’d buy a backup of – I’m going to go with my Lip Smackers Dr. Pepper lip balm. I have like 10 of them in my backups currently – can’t go without them!

  4. ohh… one product that I’ve repurchased so many times is Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation. I love this so much that I feel like it makes my skin look really nice and fresh the next morning. (I dont know if it really did, maybe its just my imagination?) This foundation has been on my monthly favorites a few times. 🙂 AND and… Carmex lip balm, I don’t know what Im gonna do without it. ❤
    I know you said ONE but it's hard to share one. hehe

    1. I’ve not tried Rimmel Match Perfection foundation but I have tried the concealer and I really liked it. I don’t why but I’ve never tried Rimmel foundations.
      I tried to like Carmex lip balm but it just didn’t do it for me… but I do like the Blistex one in the blue tube – super minty!
      I know, it’s super hard to choose just one! 😛

      1. Everytime I see Blistex, it makes me cringe.. I tried those in the past when I was dealing with my lips and Blistex was one of the worst I’ve tried. Of all the lipbalms I’ve tried only carmex worked on me. I don’t know why. 😃

    1. Hah, there are MANY people who’ve commented but opted not to enter – we all seem to be suffering from makeup overload? I sense it also on YouTube. It’s like we’re all collectively entering the same phase of makeup addiction… denial, acceptance… is this recovery stage now? 😛
      I realized that I’ve not tried much Kat Von D makeup – just one, the Ladybird palette from ages ago. That foundation must be amazing since you’ve tried so many foundations!

      1. It isn’t 100% my favourite finish, but it’s the one that performs and lasts the best on my oily skin. I’m currently without it as it’s only in stock either end of the spectrum at the moment, and I’m craving it back!
        Yes I think you’re right – maybe a bunch of us who started around the same time – we’re passing through one full cycle of makeup collecting 😂😂

  6. I love makeup and I walk in the drugstore mesmerized by so many beautiful brands. My holy grail is … wow I have a few but the most is Marcelle loose powder and Garnier Micellar Water .. those I am restocking over and over again … 😍😍😍

    I recommend alexandrapotora.com blog,a young girl that she is so positive energy contagious . Beauty blogger and soon she will launch her cosmetic line. She is amazing startuinf from DIY face masks , healthy snacks to personal and professional advise. She is full of life person .

    latest HG… Marcelle forever sharp for intense smudge-free eyelining but i use both the black & brown to get a dark brown 😉 doesn’t last long & the sharpening isn’t the greatest but no more crime-scene eyes 30min after applying!!!

    & blog suggest: this is tough as it really depends what you’re into but i’m obsessed with this young guy & his accessibly innovative b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l-l-y shot vegan makes (no i’m not vegan. tempeh makes me gag but i don’t like a lot of dairy in my diet)

    1. ummm… to clarify “it doesn’t last long” refers to amount of product in the pen, ie. having to repurchase more frequently than other eyeliners like my MUFE aquaeyes pencil. For me, it lasts all day

  9. My HG I buy way too many back ups of is Fresh Sugar lip balm, just the plain clear one in the brown tube. I got hooked on it when I was on Accutane in high school and after 12 years, I am still in love with it. I have 7 brand new tubes waiting to be used.

    I’ve been thinking about whether to enter or not… and I’m in! This is such a generous giveaway – and it’s probably the last one…

    OK, my holy grail makeup product is Max Factor’s Pan Stik. It’s an oil-based full coverage foundation that helped me stay on top of my eczema. If I could only use one make-up product for the rest of my life, this would be it!

  14. My HG item is Bourjois pinceau liquid liner. I’m on my 5th one, and will buy until they discontinue the line! It seriously is the best high Street liquid liner, no smudge and last all day.

My favorite makeup product is Clinique Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer: I’m a bit of a foundation junkie and this one from Clinique is hands down one of my all-time favorite foundations. I’ve been using it for about a year now and I loooooove it. Amazing coverage, doesn’t break me out, and it doesn’t get greasy on my skin. I highly recommend this foundation.

    1. I’ve had that Clinique foundation recommended to me before. It’s been years since I’ve tried a Clinique foundation because their colour match isn’t great for me. But I should look into them again – maybe they’ve improved their colour selection! Thank you!

I’m finally making my way over from Instagram after following you forever… My favorite product that I have like 3 backups of is the e.l.f. high lift brow pencil in Taupe. It is $2 and matched my brow hairs perfectly. Besides, you know how brow pencils are prone to running out between sides!

  21. Holy guacamole, this is an awesome giveaway! And that NYX palette really is superb 😁
    So obviously I’m going to enter this giveaway because I totally need more makeup lol.
    Shockingly I only have one thing currently as a backup! (Other than mascara which totally doesn’t count) It’s the Wet n Wild bringing trio in Fair Trade Coffee that came out a few years ago. I used to buy more backups but I’ve been pretty good about curbing that impulse lately. It’s so tempting though! Especially with limited edition items. Also the knowledge that everything I love gets discontinued eventually.

      I’m so bad… I just bought a few backups of foundations because they discontinued it (Shiseido Sheer & Perfect) and I found them at Winners (our version of TJMaxx) for $8 each! They had my shade, what can I do?

  24. I would have to say that the Milani Brow Fix Kit is my holy grail for my brows. I have gone through a few and already have a new back up. It’s one thing that that stays consistent with my makeup routine. If they discontinued it, I would be very sad!!! I get it in the shade light. I use the darker shade for the tail end of my brows and work that inward till I get to the front, then use the lighter shade. The highlight shade that comes with it, I actually use it to somewhat carve out and define underneath my brows. I don’t know why it works, but it does for me lol! No matter what other brow products I try, I always go back to that one 🙂
