Stashy’s Hoarder Stash Giveaway!

*THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED* Winner announced here.

It is universally agreed, I have a hoarding problem. As a parting gift, I’m letting go of some of the items in my stash, as well as some goodies I picked up especially for this giveaway.  These are all brand new, unused, full-sized products.

What’s all included:

Although all items are new and unused, I can’t say I didn’t open some of them, because I had to take photos. But I promise that I did not touch the products inside!  If this bothers you, please do not enter the giveaway. 🙂

Lancôme Auda[City] in Paris Eyeshadow Palette

This is the palette that Lisa Eldridge designed for Lancôme. It includes a whopping 16 shades inside:

I hauled this back in mid-2016 and it sat untouched all this time. I honestly forgot I even owned this! 😳

NYX Avant Pop! Shadow Palette in Nouveau Chic

Look, I still have the receipt for this! 😛

I bought an extra of this palette with the intention of doing a review on it and then giving one away.  I haven’t even tried mine yet! (I only opened it for this photo!) 😆  But I have it on good authority from GymBagMakeup that this palette is stellar.

Becca Blushed with Light Blush Trio Palette

I bought this last year and it sat in the box the whole time… are you seeing a pattern?  I’ve got too many blushes as it is.

Includes the shades Wisteria, Songbird, and Snapdragon

CoverGirl TruNaked Roses Palette

The open one is mine that I’ve been using.  You’ll receive the sealed one.

You know I love this palette. I love it so much that I bought a backup. What am I doing with a backup of an eye shadow palette when I can’t even finish a single eye shadow? 🙄

Quo Mineral Shadow Combo in Downtown Brown

The one on the right side is mine, which is a top drawer palette. Seriously, it sits on my top drawer, reserved for my favourites, which also includes the CG Roses palette above.

I posted about this a long time ago here. It’s been one of my all time favourite palettes but I don’t talk about it much since it got discontinued. Of course I bought a backup…

Note that the cover of this palette has a stubborn sticker that refused to budge (I tried but risked damaging the chrome surface). Also, said chrome surface shows every little micro scratch – it was bought from the store like this! But the product inside is untouched under a sheet of protective cover.

MAC 161 SE Duo Fibre Face Glider Brush

I bought this in 2016 and put it in a drawer and forgot about it.  It was limited edition so it’s your chance to get this if you missed out. It would be a great brush for highlighting or bronzing.

MAC 217SH Blending Brush

Remember I mentioned about stocking up on some backups of MAC 217 with the natural bristles? I didn’t forget about you! You need this brush in your life.  This is the short handled version but the brush head is identical to the long handled one – they’re even the same exact price. Personally, I prefer shorter handle – easier to get up close to the mirror and great for travel. The 217 brush is discontinued now – MAC is phasing all their brushes to synthetics ones.

Vasanti Eye Essential 4-piece Brush Kit

I’ve had this unopened for ages – Vasanti is a Canadian brand and I own a few of their brushes and they’re excellent.

Includes Detail Eyeshadow Brush, Brow Brush, Contour Eyeshadow Brush, and Eyeshadow Brush.

Vasanti Blush Brush #7

I got this on a whim and ended up loving the smaller head shape and softness so much that I bought a backup. Why do I have so many backups of brushes!

MAC Veluxe Pro Palette Refill Eye Shadow Pan in Kid

I have 3 of this eye shadow colour, for some reason? One that is being used and 2 backups. Granted, it is one of the most buttery formulas I’ve ever felt and a fantastic transitional shade… but geez, overkill much? It’s a discontinued shade and sought after item.  I should sell the other backup on eBay… 😉

MAC Frost Eye Shadow Single in Satin Taupe

I Back to MAC my decluttered items and picked this up for you! It’s my favourite eye shadow shade, ever. ❤

MAC Amplified Lipstick in Cosmo

Also Back to MAC this for you! My current favourite MAC lipstick shade which MAC describes as “pink coco”.  See I was good, I didn’t Back to MAC for myself because I know I have enough makeup… is this some kind of personal growth? 💡

Please note though, MAC has a policy that items redeemed from Back to MAC cannot be returned or exchanged. So they affixed little red X stickers over the product labels.  I didn’t want to attempt to remove them in case I ruin the label altogether!  I’m letting you know this so if you win and see the red X labels, don’t think there’s anything wrong with them. 🙂

Annabelle Single Eye Shadows in Suedine and Aura

This is a Canadian drugstore brand whose products – especially eye shadows and blushes – rival MAC’s (they’re both made in Canada!)  I own and use both of these shades but felt compelled to buy -say it with me now- backups!

Milani Baked Blush in Corallina

Grabbed an extra when I saw this on sale.

Milani Illuminating Face Powder in Beauty’s Touch

This was too pretty not to pick up.

Marcelle Quad Bronzer in Sunkissed

This is the sister brand to Annabelle (above) at a slightly higher price point. I own another Marcelle bronzer and really like it so when I saw this, I picked it up knowing I already own too many bronzers. And doesn’t it look like a Givenchy product?

H&M Precision Makeup Sponge and The Face Shop Makeup Blender Sponge

Both of these sponges have been firm favourites and I have a stash of them – sharing is caring!

C.O. Bigelow Supreme 2X Lip Shine in Vanillamint

I always have several tubes of this in my backup, and I am a big pusher of this product. 😉 It’s my go-to overnight lip treatment.

Rebels Refinery Capital Vices Skull Lip Balm in Superbia (mint)

This is a local Toronto-made 100% natural product and it is so lovely! I’m showing my own one opened – not the one to be won. It’s so much better than EOS – this is creamy and hydrating. Plus, it’s quite a conversation piece! 😛

So those are all of the prizes to help reduce my hoard be won – it’s a win / win situation. 😉

  1. Holy bananas Stash! This would be so bomb…. and most of his stuff I have never tried gimme gimmmmeeee! Haha

Umm not sure if you are into travel blogs but my friend just started one and her content is pretty epic. Her blog is wheremelwanders.

And favourite HG product? Dip brow in ebony, nyx pre filling primer, there are others… we both know there are others!

    1. Haha, you see how I do NOT need more palettes? I barely use the ones that I own! You know what’s sad? I “discovered” the Viseart Neutral Mattes palette untouched among my makeup hoard. I forgot I bought it back in the Fall 2016 Sephora VIB sales! 😮

Yes, I like travel blogs! Thanks for the rec! I will check her out for sure!

And I love hearing about people’s HG! 😀 Good luck!

  2. Awesome! I would enter, but I think you know I need more makeup like a hole in the head. 😂 One of my New Year’s resolutions is to downsize my makeup, as well.

Gotta say that Lancôme palette looks gawwwgeous, though!

    Good luck to all entrants!!

    1. Haha, I like how we’re all becoming more self aware of our crazy amount of makeup! 😛

Yes, that Lancôme palette is gorgeous! I’m a dork for not using it… you know what other palette I’ve been sitting on is the Viseart Neutral Matte palette. STILL UNTOUCHED. What is wrong with me / us? 🙄

  3. What a fantastic giveaway, thanks for the opportunity to win! If these are items you have extras of, I can only imagine what your entire stash looks like!

I’d say my HG product is IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores translucent powder. I’ve been using it for years. It sets my makeup really nicely and gives an airbrushed look.

    Good luck everyone!

    1. It’s true… my stash is a bottomless pit! 😆

I’m always on the hunt for new under eye powders to try. So far my favaourite has been the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder. I will have to look into the IT Cosmetics one. Thanks for the recommendation and good luck to you!

  4. WOW Stashy! That’s a lot of backups! So sad I missed out on Kid by Mac. I think I would have to say that my HG would have to be Clinique DDM+ moisturizer, boring I know but I can’t say how many times I have repurchased it! I just know my skin likes it and have never had any issues with it.Another wouldd have to be the Smashbox Photo Finish Hydrating Under Eye Primer, I have also repurchased it.

    1. I keep forgetting to use Kid eye shadow but since posting about it, I decided to pull it back out to use. It is such a good blending shade! Really can’t understand why MAC would discontinue it!

I’m with you, the Clinique DDM+ is one of my HG too! It’s a fantastic basic, no frills moisturizer that works well under makeup and does exactly what it claims to do! Ooh good to know about the Smashbox under eye primer, I JUST got their eyelid primer since everyone loves it! Thanks for the recs and good luck with the giveaway!

  5. That is one blowout giveaway! I want to enter just because it contains that C.G. Bigelow lipbalm you keep raving about. My one product I own several backups off is a discontinued eyeshadow from The Body Shop. It is my fave creamy neutral for setting the lid after applying a paint pot. And the first one is nearly gone by now.

I don’t buy backups as a general rule of thumb as I know it takes ages to use up product. However, I will repurchase a product when I run out and loved it.

And I’d love to give you blog recommendations, but most of the blogs I read are in Dutch when they are beauty related as it gives me a better idea of what will be released here. I can highly recommend Cassy from Baubles & Knots though, but not sure you already know her or not. She’s got spunk!

    Liked by 1 person

    1. I will commit to you that I’ll send you the C.O. Bigelow lip balm even if you don’t win the giveaway, ok? That’s how strongly I feel about it!!! ❤ Hey, maybe if you're up to it, we can do a small beauty swap. Think about it. 🙂

Oh which discontinued Body Shop eye shadow do you have backups of? I too, have a couple of unopened backups of their old OLD formula. One was called 32 Chocolate and the other 31 Peacock Green. The formula of those were STELLAR – like butter and so pigmented!

Aw I understand why the majority of blogs you follow are in Dutch – it makes a lot of sense! Similarly, I follow a lot of Canadian blogs! No, I don't know Cassy from Baubles & Knots – I will check her out! Thanks for the recs and good luck in the giveaway!

  6. That’s like an instant makeup stash! 😆 I don’t know if you’re on the lookout for YouTubers too but JAM beauty is a great one for decluttering videos. I think she has a blog too but not sure when it was last updated. Her husband’s channel is all about travel, another one I love. I have a feeling we probably already follow the same bloggers so not sure who to recommend.

Picking just one holy grail product is too hard! I think the only one I actually have a backup for most of the time is the Extravagant Volume mascara in waterproof brown/black from No7. At the moment I have 7 or 8 black mascaras from Christmas but still have one of these too!

    Liked by 1 person

    1. Oh yes, I’m game for YouTube too although I tend to get sucked in by hours of videos… 😛 Thanks for the recommendation of JAM beauty channel. I’m always game for declutters!

I know, picking ONE Holy Grail item is a bit tortuous. 😛 I do think mascara is the one product that people like to keep backups. The No. 7 one sounds great.

      Good luck in the giveaway!

      Liked by 1 person

      1. It is easy to get lost in the maze of YouTube videos once you start. I especially seem to lose hours on declutter playlists. I think mascara tends to be one to back up because it does have a definite shelf life so you know you’ll be replacing it. Plus I tend to get them on offer so I buy them in twos!

  7. Fantastic giveaway!!! My most repurchased makeup related item is something that takes my makeup off lol ……and it’s my Bioderma. I always have a couple bottles tucked away.

    Liked by 1 person

    1. That makes a lot of sense that you’d go through a lot of Bioderma and always have backups! I would freak out if I don’t have at least one bottle of oil cleanser in my backup!

Good luck on the giveaway Jill! 🙂

  8. Awesome products, as always. For my HG product, I’d pick tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. I’ve purchased it a few times already when Ulta would feature it on their 21 Days of Beauty event. I’ve attached the link to a blog that I follow that focuses mainly on food and travel. She’s from California and often shares recipes in her posts. http://cookingwithawallflower.com/

    Liked by 1 person

    1. I’m really drawn to that Tarte mascara partly because of the packaging! I’ve also read some rave reviews from credible sources. I will look into it maybe for Sephora VIB sale.

Food and travel are my 2 most favourite things after makeup! ❤ Thanks for the rec – I'll definitely check her out! Good luck in the giveaway!

    1. You’re more of a lip balm addict than me – you used up that tube of CO Bigelow in no time! 😛
I’ve not tried any LUSH toners – I need to investigate!
Good luck in the giveaway Dannii!

  9. I guess you already know which makeup product I’d buy a backup of… that L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara!! O(^▽^)O
But other than that, I need to get a backup palette of Walking on Eggshells by Wet N Wild – I’ve completely panned (wiped clean) the lid shade in that palette – it is such a gorgeous shimmery light shade for the lid that never fails to make me look more awake and put together. Plus it’s affordable!
Also, I need to repurchase the Etude House brow pencil (twist up) – I’ve gone through roughly a handful of them and I’m running low on the current one I own.

I might have already told you about this blog, but it’s one that I hold dear to my heart because of the way she writes:

    1. Hehe, I have the Lash Paradise mascara backup in my stash too! 😇 I saw that Wet n Wild relaunched their eye shadow palettes and I think Walking on Eggshells is part of the new ones!

Oh yes, I love that blog but too bad she doesn’t update anymore!

Thanks for the recommendations and good luck in the giveaway!

  11. What a great giveaway, you’re leaving us in big style😘 Revlon Colorstay foundation it is for me although with my current stash ATM, I am not buying a backup after using up current one.

    Liked by 1 person

    1. You know, I’ve actually never used Revlon’s regular Colorstay foundation! I only tried the whipped one – I quite liked it. I always worried that foundation would be too heavy feeling but it’s such a cult classic – there’s a reason why it’s been around for so many years. I should look into it next time I see it on sale. Good luck in the giveaway, Daniela! 🙂

My Holy Grail that I will always have a backup of is the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara! It ticks all the boxes for me when it comes to mascara!x

    1. Hah, I know it’s really challenging to name just ONE, that’s why I had to ask. I think mascara seems to be a popular choice in the responses! I’ve tried DiorShow mascara before, it’s great! Good luck with the giveaway Grieta!

      1. It’s funny you should say that, I’ve been thinking of trying out the eye lash curler recently, I want to do it when I’ve got a day or two off work in case I chop off my eyelashes (don’t know if that’s possible).

        Liked by 1 person

        1. No, you can’t chop off your lashes with that curler, it’s not a knife! 😉 I looked online for a helpful video and I like Marlene’s the best – good basic how-to:

And I agree with her, don’t heat up the last curler with a hair dryer. I did that once and OUCH, it hurt!

    1. I have a full size of the Benefit They’re Real mascara in my stash to be opened. I think I’ve tried it before but in a mini size – I don’t remember much about it. I hope I’ll love it as much as everyone seems to.

Thanks for the blog recommendation – I love supporting fellow Canadian bloggers! 🙂 Good luck in the giveaway!

  13. This is definitely a wonderful win-win situation. 😁😂 These products all look so beautiful. I enjoyed looking at the photos of them just as much as getting to know a bit about brands I hadn’t yet heard of.

I had such a tough time thinking of only one holy grail product to mention to you. 🙈 It came down to which product makes me feel the best though and that’s Lancôme’s Teint Miracle foundation. It ticks all the boxes for me; it’s light, radiant and nourishing and the best part about it is that when I wear it people compliment me on my skin rather than asking what foundation I am wearing. ❤️ It’s perfection and I can never get enough especially if I am running about on four hour’s sleep. A radiant foundation is a brilliant tool to fool anyone who might guess you hardly slept the night before. 😂😂

    Liked by 1 person

    1. I really posed a challenging question, didn’t I? 😆 I actually just tried a sample of that Lancôme’s Teint Miracle yesterday and it is LOVELY! Unfortunately, the shade I received it too orange and dark for me but the formula is stellar. I was impressed how well it wore through the day – I never expect a foundation that’s radiant to be long wearing either. Thanks for the recommendation and that foundation is now on my “to-buy in full size” list! 😉
Good luck in the giveaway, Nadine! ❤

  17. First of all Thank You for the chance to win this generous and beautiful giveaway. I always have to have primer I can’t do without I find it makes my foundation look flawless. I am always trying different brands so I have more than two. I really enjoy reading Spacey https://spejsi.wordpress.com/ She posts really nice reviews, photos, shares, comments and needs more followers. Have a Nice Week & Good Luck Everyone !!!

    1. I never used to use primers – I always assumed that foundation was supposed to work on its own. But you’re right, with a good primer, the foundation applies flawlessly and lasts all day!

I just clicked on it but it says it’s no longer available. I googled her and this blog came up: https://reviewedbyspacey.wordpress.com/
Is this the one? It looks great! Thanks for recommendation! 🙂

  19. Hmmmm a holy grail makeup product… I would say the Clinique Acne Solutions Liquid Makeup. My mom gave me one years ago, and I have totally bought extras to stash in the past. I don’t use it that often anymore, but I have an open one that I like to apply when I have acne breakouts. It soothes the acne while also works as a mild concealer. Not a great concealer, but the goal is to help the acne and it has helped a lot, without drying my skin.

  21. My Holy Grail makeup product… and I can only name one? That’s a tough one. Hmm… I think I have to go with Revlon Colorstay foundation. It’s the foundation that has worked the best for me. Plus it’s the first foundation I ever tried when I began using makeup.

    1. Ha, I know it’s quite a challenge to just name one! You’re the second person to say the Revlon Colorstay foundation as your HG. I’m surprised that I still haven’t tried it even though it’s been around for so long. I guess I’ll have to try it.
Good luck in the giveaway, Adryana! 😀

The one holy grail that I keep devating on whether to pick up a backup or not is actually my ABH Subculture palette. I love it THAT MUCH!

I have not come across any new blogs lately that really spark my interest, but I’m gonna check out the ones that have been suggested too!

    💕

    Liked by 1 person

    1. You know, with all the drama around the ABH Subculture palette, when I inspect the shades carefully, I think the curated selection look very interesting. I feel like it would supplement the neutrals in my collection while not being TOO crazy with the colours. I hope the formula will stabilize…

It’s always a challenge to find good blogs on my own. I hate the “follow / unfollow” game that people play on IG and it’s starting to infiltrate blogs too. I just want to read and discuss about beauty, travel, and food… why can’t it be simple? 😛

Good luck in the giveaway! ❤

  24. This is an INSANE giveaway!! 😍 I think I’ll faint if I win this! Haha It’s like makeup heaven! I love, love so many of these pieces!!

My holy grail backup makeup products are 1) MAC Studio Finish full coverage concealer. It lasts forever and covers anything!! 2) Maybelline Waterproof Define-a-Length mascara. I would buy backups if I could find it! Can only find the non-waterproof one and not in blackest black shade that I like. I’ve been using it for years for super long lashes but I have to find a new mascara now because Shoppers and Walmart don’t carry it anymore.😭 3) essence 2 in 1 eyeshadow and liner waterproof duo chubby stick in ‘She’s Got the Mauve’ shade. I wear this constantly as an eyeshadow and as a liner! And just bought a back up because I wrecked the tip of it. That’s the only downside. When the tip gets dull, there’s no way to sharpen. But for $5 or whatever, I just bought another one. It’s amazing!! Looks better than half the eyeshadows I own. And it’s more of a taupe than a mauve. Bought one for my mom and sis too and they both love them. Hope you try out some of my faves and like them! 😉

Now, as for fave blogs, I love megoonthego.com & canadianfashionista.net. They’re my inspiration for designing my own blog! And I have to promote my girls who have smaller followings but who are also killin’ it. All Canadians! (you may know some) healthandbeautygirl.com, sweetsurprisesblog.wordpress.com, & reviewedbyspacey.wordpress.com. Enjoy checking them out! And thanks for an amazing giveaway! Been following you for about a year now. 😊

    1. Wow, thanks for all the recommendations! ❤

I recently got back into MAC Studio concealer – I used to use it all the time for my under eye but it's way too heavy / drying for that. Now I only use it for spot / pinpoint concealing and it is so good for that.

I'm going to look for that Essence 2 in 1 eye shadow / liner! Sounds like something I'd like and great for travel or the purse.

I've heard of canadianfashionista.net but not megoonthego.com. I'll have to check it out! 😀

And definitely great for travel or to keep in your purse. They have 5 or 6 colours but the taupey mauve is my fave! I totally agree about the MAC concealer. It’s awesome for covering zits and stuff. Also, I loved your photos in this post! So gorge! 😉

It took me forever to decide BUT the Holy Grail product is the Laura Geller Cool Lids Cream Shadow in Rose Gold. So sad that they don’t have that color anymore!

  26. I think if I had to pick one, I would have a backup of Colourpop’s eyeshadow palette ‘Dream Street’ this is in collab with KathleenLights. or really any of my Colourpop palettes. They’re so gorgeous, especially the shimmers and they’re so affordable!

    1. The colours in that ColourPop palette are so vibrant! I can see what you’d want a backup of that! I just got my very first ColourPop palette not long ago, the Semi Precious palette – so pretty!
Good luck in the giveaway! 🙂

  27. What a generous giveaway hun, thank you so much! 💕

Oh gosh, my back up def has to be lipsticks, specifically pink lippies! I love pink/mauve shades from every brand esp Mac’s Nouveau and Smashbox’s Matte Mauve. I keep the same shade of lipstick in my makeup bag, bathroom drawer, in the car.. haha 😁

    Good luck to everyone! 😘

  28. Stashy~~~ I confess, that MAC 217 has me all fired up, because it is sold out over here *LOL*

One Holy Grail is too hard!!! There are quite a few things that I buy back up for you know. It has to be my Primavista Multi Cover Base UV (or the Long Keep base UV if the weather is warmer). You’ve probably guessed this one 😛

A blog that you may enjoy… hm… is travel blog okay? I really love https://thelittlelai.com/ He writes in a very down to earth style. His photos are not super glam, they’re just natural looking and personal. It’s not very posed if you know what I mean. I enjoy his blog very much. **His posts tends to be long because he’d describe the whole schedule or process of getting to the destination.

For a beauty blog, there’s a beauty channel that I like, Hakme (Cantonese) https://www.youtube.com/user/hakmebeauty/featured She’s an older girl. Her approach is very honest and often her chitchat are quite interesting. She does have a written blog (English and Cantonese), but I follow her YT more. **sorry, I forgot whether you speak Cantonese

    1. I’m glad I was able to get my hands on the MAC 217 in time! I think they’re pretty much gone now from the stores but I have seen them listed on ebay for 2 or 3 times the price. At that price, it’s pointless – you’re better off buying a Hakuhodo brush (J5523 is basically the same).

Ha, I totally guessed your HG before even reading your response! 😉

Oh yes, I’m always game for travel blogs. After makeup, travel and food are my most favourite things! 😀 I will check his blog out!

And oooh I love watching Asian beauty channels even if I don’t know a word of what they’re saying. Lately I’ve been addicted to Korean ones! Last night I found this channel, and I love her “plastic surgeries” (which is just using makeup to compensate for perceived flaws):

Good luck in the giveaway! ❤
